Who's Been Nibbling My Biscuit
A funny story about not wanting to share – and about the happiness sharing can bring
Illustrations by Nadine Y. Resch
Hedgehog can’t believe his eyes: lying right outside his front door is the most delicious-looking biscuit in the world. This must be his lucky day! But when he pops back into his burrow for a moment, someone actually comes along and takes a bite out of his tasty treat. The audacity! The tooth marks are clearly visible, so Hedgehog decides to try and catch the biscuit thief. But every times one of the woodland animals tries to prove their innocence by biting into the biscuit and showing what their tooth marks look like, the snack gets smaller and smaller! Does Hedgehog realise that even a small biscuit is enough, if you are big enough to share it?
An amusing story that invites children to guess who the culprit is – and at the end they get to reveal the identity of the biscuit thief themselves!
An important theme for preschoolers: sharing
