Even when Aleck goes flying through the air and lands in the wastepaper basket, they realise (in the midst of their giggles) that even when experiments go wrong they can still tell you something useful. In this accessible child-friendly book, science becomes an adventure — and in the end Smart and Aleck are not only knowledgeable, but also the best of friends.
