Paradise Beach

Memories of a summer that changed everything

Ada has been sleeping very badly since she was put on medication following an operation for endometriosis. She listens to the noises in her block of flats and thinks back to the summer she spent with her cousin Lilli at her home on the Baltic coast when they were younger. Ada spent that summer perfecting her own body and thinking about Elja, a girl she met there who turned her world upside down. But halfway through the unusually hot summer of 2003 came a terrible pain, and with it a silence, that would gradually cut Ada off from the rest of the world.
