Eleven-year-old Felina Fingerhat wants nothing more than to be a witch! If she was a witch she would be able to fly, keep a black cat, and cast the coolest spells you can imagine. So it’s no wonder Felina decides not to return the Black Hole (which the postman delivers to her in error) to its rightful owner – a witch called Cloudy Thunderweather. Instead, disgusting broccoli, dirty socks and Felina’s holiday job all disappear into the dark void. The Black Hole proves extremely useful – until Felina’s parents fall into it. In her quest to find them, she not only journeys to magical places but forges new friendships and even finds her very own magic.
