Bastei Lübbe AG today received written declarationsfrom the Chairman of its Supervisory Board, Dr Friedrich Wehrle, and themember of its Supervisory Board, Prof Michael Nelles, that they will beresigning from their offices from the end of the Annual General Meeting on15 September 2016. The member of the Supervisory Board Prof GordianHasselblatt had already declared on Tuesday, 26 July 2016 that he will alsobe resigning from office from the end of the Annual General Meeting on 15September 2016.At the proposal of the Supervisory Board, the seats on the SupervisoryBoard of Bastei Lübbe AG being vacated will be assumed by Mr Robert Stein,the lawyer Prof Friedrich L. Ekey and Dr Mirko Alexander Caspar. TheSupervisory Board will publish its corresponding nominations in theannouncement of the agenda of the Annual General Meeting. The newshareholder representatives are to be voted in until the end of the AnnualGeneral Meeting that adopts the resolution on the official approval of theSupervisory Board for the financial year ending on 31 March 2018.
